On Sunday, September 15, under a radiant sun in Rennes, the third edition of the Morex Custom Contest was held. A meeting that has become unmissable for fans of motorcycles, extreme sports and mechanical creativity. Here is what marked this day:

Motorcycle Competition: From Customization to Excellence

As soon as it opened to the public, the site hosted a motorcycle competition in all categories, bringing together 15 exceptional motorcycles. Each participant presented their racing car, a reflection of long hours of work and meticulous care in customization. Spectators were able to admire rolling works of art, each bringing its touch of originality and know-how. After several presentations throughout the day, it was Philippe Verday who won first prize, praised for the originality of his creation and the quality of his work.

Kenny Thomas Shows: Trials in Full Control

Kenny Thomas, world champion of motorcycle trials and winner of the show Incroyable Talent, performed three shows throughout the day. A living legend of trials in France and a Morex ambassador, Kenny caused a sensation with his precise tricks and spectacular stunts. At each show, he captivated the audience, alternating between breathtaking performances and interactions with the spectators, whom he even invited to participate in some demonstrations.

BMX flat competition: a successful first in Rennes

For the first time, the Morex Custom Contest hosted a BMX flatland competition, a discipline still relatively unknown to the general public. The day was punctuated by amateur and professional qualifications, offering demonstrations of daring and technical tricks. Mathias Dandois, BMX flatland world champion and Red Bull athlete, dominated the pro competition, taking first place with perfectly mastered tricks. Anatole Rahain and Julien Baran completed the podium, also proving their undeniable talent.

A success that calls for others

With a packed program, between motorcycle competitions, trial demonstrations and BMX flat competition, the Morex Custom Contest 2023 established itself as an edition that lived up to expectations. The day ended in style with a warm awards ceremony, before a final explosive show by Kenny Thomas who left the audience on a note of adrenaline and satisfaction.
