Its medium rocker in front makes it comfortable when the waves dig in, and the light rocker in the tail optimizes speed.
The generous outline and thickness at the front make it easy to row and catch everything that comes along.
The flat hull promotes stability, and the Vee on the tail keeps the board easy to handle, making it easy to move from one rail to the next.
The rails remain fairly round on the front 2/3 to forgive mistakes and optimize glide. They become more pinched at the rear to provide the grip needed for maneuvers.
